David Daly, Jr MD, FACC

Dr David Daly, Jr was born in Louisiana and completed high school at Catholic High of New Iberia. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. He then went to LSU Medical School in New Orleans where he was an Honors Program Graduate and finished in the top quartile of his graduating class. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL where he was selected as a Chief Internal Medicine Resident. His Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship were completed in Charleston, SC at MUSC. During his time at MUSC, he was nominated as the South Carolina Fellow Representative for the American College of Cardiology (ACC), was given the Outstanding Fellow Award, and he published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals about both preventive and interventional cardiology. Dr. Daly is excited to be back in Lafayette with his wife and three children. He is currently serving as a council member for Louisiana ACC and is on the governing board of the Louisiana Emergency Response Network, which meets in Baton Rouge. Locally, Dr. Daly is the Director of Procedural Labs at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. He is currently accepting new patients in both his Lafayette and New Iberia clinic locations.
