Dr. David Daly, Jr was born in Lafayette and briefly lived in Mississippi before moving back to New Iberia to complete high school at Catholic High (’97-’01).
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a major in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Chemistry (‘01-‘05).
He then went to LSU Medical School in New Orleans where he was an Honors Program Graduate and finished in the top quartile of his graduating class (‘05-‘09).
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL (‘09-‘12) where he was selected as a Chief Internal Medicine Resident (‘12-‘13).
Dr. Daly next moved to Charleston, SC where he completed his Cardiology Fellowship (‘13-‘16) and will complete his Interventional Cardiology training (‘16-‘17) at MUSC. During his time at MUSC, he was nominated as the South Carolina Fellow Representative for the American College of Cardiology, was given the Outstanding Fellow Award, and he published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals about both preventive and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Daly is excited to move back to Lafayette with his wife and three kids.
