Dr. Kian Ehsan completed his undergrad in Applied Science at SFU in British Columbia in 2001. He completed his medical school in SABA, Netherland Antilles in 2006. Thereafter, he completed his Internal Medicine residency in LSU New Orleans in 2009. He continued his cardiovascular training at LSU - New Orleans where he obtained multiple recognitions as Resident and Fellow of the Year. He was honored to be appointed as the Chief Fellow of the Cardiology Program, supervising over 100 medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Ehsan attended Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia for his extensive interventional training, including coronary and peripheral intervention. Lankenau Medical Center specializes in the transradial (arm) as well as the femoral (groin) approach. Dr. Ehsan's preferred method is the transradial approach, which allows early ambulation and no bed rest restriction.
Dr. Ehsan is triple board certified. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Currently, he has two offices, one in Lafayette and the other in Eunice with hospital privileges at Heart Hospital of Lafayette, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
In his free time, Dr. Ehsan enjoys travelling, learning about other countries' cultures, and exploring the culinary world. To compensate for the culinary enjoyment, Dr. Ehsan also enjoys an active life style.
