Rehan Ali is a long time Lafayette native. He attended Lafayette High School for two years before transferring to the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts In Natchitoches, Louisiana.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University (2001) prior to attending St George’s University School of Medicine (2006).
He then returned to his home state of Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University in New Orleans (2006-09) for his internship and residency in Internal Medicine.
He was then appointed Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at University Hospital, where he supervised over 90 physicians.
From 2010-13, he completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at LSU in New Orleans.
He then traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to complete a Fellowship in Intervention Cardiology at Hahnemann Hospital in conjunction with Drexel University, where he received extensive training in coronary as well as peripheral interventions and limb salvage procedures.
Dr. Ali actively participates in clinical research trials and has been published in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the Louisiana State Medical Society and Baylor University Medical Center’s Proceedings.
In his spare time, Dr. Ali watches college and professional football and enjoys traveling, swimming and playing chess.
He is currently Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.

A native of Taiwan, Dr Jeff Chen completed medical school at National Taiwan University (’83) where he received multiple Scholastic Excellence Achievement Awards and graduated at the top of his class.
He subsequently moved to California where he completed both his Internship (’85-’86) and Residency (’87-’89) at the University of California, Irvine-Long Beach Program.
Both of his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowships (’89-’93) were fulfilled at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Dr. Chen has also had professional accomplishments at the University of Southern California School of Medicine and Medical Center including Clinical Instructor of Medicine (’89-’92), Chief Administrative Fellow, Division of Cardiology University of Southern California (’92), Assistant Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (’92-’93), Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine (’92-’93).
After relocating to Louisiana in 1993 he served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Regional Medical Center of Acadiana (’95).
Dr. Chen was honored by the American Medical Association for Physician’s Recognition Award from March of 2000 through May 2014.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease & Interventional Cardiology.
He also holds Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology (’06) and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (’10).
Dr. Chen is a member of both the American College of Cardiology (Fellow) and The American Medical Association.

Dr David Daly, Jr was born in Louisiana and completed high school at Catholic High of New Iberia. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry.
He then went to LSU Medical School in New Orleans where he was an Honors Program Graduate and finished in the top quartile of his graduating class.
He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL where he was selected as a Chief Internal Medicine Resident.
His Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship were completed in Charleston, SC at MUSC. During his time at MUSC, he was nominated as the South Carolina Fellow Representative for the American College of Cardiology (ACC), was given the Outstanding Fellow Award, and he published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals about both preventive and interventional cardiology.

Dr. James Dobbs attended the University of Mississippi’s School of Medicine in Jackson (’98-’02).
He then fulfilled both Internship and Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (’02-’05). Where he received The Ben Friedman Award given for excellence in teaching by a senior medical resident.
Dr. Dobbs completed his Cardiology Fellowship (’05-’08) at the Henry Ford Hospital, and his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship (’08-’09) at the University of Alabama Hospital.
He has been an active Fellow of the American College of Cardiology since 2011.
Prior to joining Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana, Dr. Dobbs held a staff cardiologist position at Lafayette Heart Clinic followed by Tennessee Valley Cardiovascular Center in Florence, Alabama.

Dr. Kian Ehsan completed his undergrad in Applied Science at SFU in British Columbia in 2001. He completed his medical school in SABA, Netherland Antilles in 2006. Thereafter, he completed his Internal Medicine residency in LSU New Orleans in 2009. He continued his cardiovascular training at LSU – New Orleans where he obtained multiple recognitions as Resident and Fellow of the Year. He was honored to be appointed as the Chief Fellow of the Cardiology Program, supervising over 100 medical students, residents and fellows.
Dr. Ehsan attended Lankenau Medical Center in Philadelphia for his extensive interventional training, including coronary and peripheral intervention. Lankenau Medical Center specializes in the transradial (arm) as well as the femoral (groin) approach. Dr. Ehsan’s preferred method is the transradial approach, which allows early ambulation and no bed rest restriction. Dr. Ehsan specializes in treatment of coronary artery disease, from acute (heart attack) to chronic. His vascular work includes treating patients with leg pain from basic claudication to limb salvage. Furthermore, Dr. Ehsan practices in prevention and treatment of venous disease which include venous ablation, venous closure, and sclerotherapy. He is the first interventional cardiologist to be able to implant successfully the world’s smallest pacemakers. He is trained in placement of permanent pacemakers and defibrillators.
Dr. Ehsan is triple board certified. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. He is the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice. Currently, he has two offices, one in Lafayette and the other in Eunice with hospital privileges at Heart Hospital of Lafayette, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Lafayette General Medical Center and Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
In his free time, Dr. Ehsan enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Tala Voosoghi, who practices immigration law in Lafayette , and two beautiful sons Arman and Aria.
